:: The happy days of May have glided into those of June, and reluctant though it may be, the warm weather is slipping into our backyards and gardens. The word and thought of Summer is more tangible now, and those summer dreams of ice cream sundaes, cutting gardens, booklists, and bonfires are gradually transitioning from word, to plan, to adventure. The grill is again in almost daily use. Family summer favorites are played through every stereo in the evenings... Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Glen Miller, Jelly Roll Morton. The chickens are again happily providing a summer supply of eggs each day, and the neighbor boys spend the last hours of daylight playing baseball in the field . . .
Yes. Summer is just about here, the adventure of June has begun, and the time has come to relish in it's wonderful, simple days. After all, I think only June can bring about days like these. ::
