:: waiting for the storm ::

:: JMJ ::

:: Looming dark clouds prove the accuracy of the weather radar, blinking red and green on the computer screen. A storm was to come, you could smell it in the air. The garden had been in need of a good drink, and it was on it's way. Chickens had to be secured for fear of strong winds, and puppy was taken out on a walk in the hopes of repleting some of that infinite store of puppy energy. Flower pots tucked into the garden shed and patio furniture cushions stacked in the garage ... all there was left to do was wait. And wait. And wait...

We were not disappointed. The storm came full force and what a storm it was! The afternoon was spent cozily inside, sounds of rain on the roof, book in hand, and a little puppy snuggled up close for a nap. ::

 "Praise the LORD ... You lightning and hail, snow and clouds, storm winds that fulfill his command ...  Let them all praise the LORD'S name, for his name alone is exalted, majestic above earth and heaven."
 {Psalm 148}
