a toast to the east
My little adventure leads me to new paths each day. And at the end of this summer, it will draw me East to a quaint, fairytale-like college that smells of old books. We made a trip this past weekend, my daddy and I, to see and experience a little of what next fall will bring. Our journey was delightful, and now, back in the comforts of home, I am left with treasures to carry in my heart until I return again. To these, I raise my mason jar of Earl Grey. To these, I propose a toast ...
To some sunshine in a vase for brightening breakfast.
To a morning spent in a sweet Concord cafe with a cup of 'Blue from London' and delightful conversation.
To the laughs; to the memories; to the wonder; to the adventure...
To this little bit of St. Therese for accompanying me on my first journey through the skies.
To some sunshine in a vase for brightening breakfast.
To a morning spent in a sweet Concord cafe with a cup of 'Blue from London' and delightful conversation.
To a little bit of Walden Pond for being so explorable and enjoyable.
To the most perfect traveling companion who kept me quite entertained, enormously well-fed, and wonderfully happy.
To a bit of the omnipresent red brick that paved our way, cheering the journey and singing sweet melodies of the past.
To this snippet of the lovable and busy Portsmouth for being so new and memorable.
To my faithful Birkenstocks who accompanied me the whole while.
To this beautiful Cathedral for being so majestic and providing some silence to pray in the midst of chaotic Boston.
To the laughs; to the memories; to the wonder; to the adventure...
Lovely pictures!
